A 19-year-old man has died following a fatal road crash at Cudlee Creek on Saturday, October 18.

Emergency services were called to Gorge Road – south of Torrens Hill Road – at about 2.40pm yesterday following reports of a collision between a Kawasaki motorbike and a Toyota station wagon.

While the two occupants of the station wagon were uninjured during the crash, the motorcyclist, a Walkley Heights man, died at the scene.

The death marks the 72nd fatality on SA roads this year so far, compared with 68 at the same time last year.

The death was also the 5th motorcyclist killed on SA roads this year.

Major Crash officers are investigating the incident.
